Ingredients

1 pack Garden Gourmet Vegan Falafel Classic
2 units Naan Bread (110 g raw dough/unit)
130g Strength flour
50g Plain yoghourt (or Soy Yoghourt)
50ml Warm water
2g Bakery dry yeast or 6g Fresh yeast
1 tsp Olive oil
1/4 tsp Sugar
1 pinch Salt (optional)
70 g Hummus
1/2 Cucumber (sliced) (about 60 g or 5 slices)
1 Black tomato (sliced) (100 g or 3 slices per wrap)
15g Baby spinach
15g Crumbled feta cheese (or nuts)
15g Black olives (chopped or sliced)
15g Pickled red onion

Preparation

1. Prepare Yeast Mixture

To prepare the naan bread: mix the water with the yeast and let stand.

2. Mix Ingredients

Meanwhile, in a bowl mix the flour with the salt, oil, and yoghourt.

3. Knead the Dough

Add the water with the yeast and knead for about 5-10 minutes until you get a smooth and even dough.

4. Rest the Dough

Let the dough rest covered with a clean cloth for 1 hour in a warm environment.

5. Flatten Dough Balls

Form 2 balls and flatten them with a roller to reach a diameter of approximately 23-24 cm, although it does not have to be a perfect circle.

6. Cook the Dough

In a hot pan put the dough and cook for a minute and a half on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining ball.

7. Prepare Falafel

Meanwhile, prepare the falafel according to the package instructions.

8. Spread Hummus

On each of the breads, spread the hummus.

9. Prepare Vegetables

Divide the spinach leaves, tomato slices and cucumber.

10. Finish Dressing

Divide the falafel and finish dressing with crumbled feta cheese, black olives and pickled red onion.
